90 MINUTE DINNER ROLLS 
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. shortening (butter, butter, vegetable oil)
2 tbsp. sugar
1 pkg. yeast
1/4 c. water

Combine 3/4 c. flour, salt, sugar and yeast. Heat milk, water and shortening to 120 degrees. Add to dry ingredients, beat 2 minutes by hand or electric mixer. Add remaining flour, a little at a time until dough is soft not sticky. (Do not add too much flour or dough will be tough.) Knead 2 to 3 minutes.
