PINEAPPLE BEETS | |
1 (13 1/2 oz.) can chunk pineapple, drain, save juice 1/2 c. water 1/2 c. cider vinegar 4 tbsp. brown sugar 1 tbsp. cornstarch 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. ginger 2 #1 cans sliced beets, drained Mix pineapple juice with water and vinegar. Add mixture of sugar, cornstarch, salt and ginger. Cook until thick. Add beets and heat until hot through. |
