BOILED BACON DRESSING 
4 slices of bacon, finely chopped
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c. vinegar
1 c. cream (can substitute milk or water)
2 or 3 hard boiled eggs, chopped

Fry bacon slowly until crisp, do not drain. In saucepan, put sugar and cornstarch,. mix thoroughly. Add beaten egg and vinegar, mix thoroughly. Add cream or substitute and fried bacon with fat. Cook to desired thickness, stirring during cooking time. Add hard boiled eggs. Serve over salad greens and mix well. Serve warm
