APRICOT ORANGE DESSERT SALAD | |
2 sm. boxes orange gelatin 2 c. boiling water 1 (21 oz.) can Wilderness apricot fruit filling 1 c. miniature marshmallows 1 c. fruit juice (orange or pineapple) 1/2 c. sugar 3 tbsp. flour 1 egg 1 c. heavy cream, whipped 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add apricot fruit filling and marshmallows. Pour into 9-inch square pan; let set. Combine fruit juice, sugar, flour and egg in saucepan. Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Cool. When cold, fold in whipped cream and spread over gelatin fruit layer. Sprinkle top with grated Cheddar cheese. Refrigerate. Makes 9 servings. |
