AUNT VERA'S POUND CAKE 
1 1/2 c. butter
3 c. reg. flour
1 tbsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tbsp. almond flavoring
2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. water
7 eggs

Cream butter, sugar and water for 6 minutes. Beat 1 egg at a time into mixture for 1 minute. Add 3 cups of sifted flour, beat until well blended.

Pour into tube or loaf pans well greased and floured. They can also be buttered and wax lined. Cook at 300 degrees for 1 hour or until brown on top.
