NANCY'S ICE BOX CAKE 
3 chocolate squares
10 eggs
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
A few grains of salt
A light cake (pound cake)
Marshmallows
Whipped cream

Melt 3 squares of chocolate over hot water. Beat the whites of 10 eggs until stiff; drop the yolks in one at a time and continue beating. Fold in the melted chocolate, a few grains of salt, 2 tablespoons sugar and vanilla.

Line a 9x4 or 9-inch round pan with wax paper. Slice cake VERY thin. Make a layer of cake. Sprinkle with cut marshmallows and sauce and continue adding layers until pan is full.

Make sure the first and last layer are cake. Place wax paper over this and put on a plate with a weight on top (brick) and place in refrigerator for several hours. Put on a plate and cover generously with whipped cream.
