APPLE POUND CAKE 
1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. baking soda
3 c. flour
3 c. chopped apples
1 c. chopped pecans
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. butter
1 c. light brown sugar
1/4 c. evaporated milk

Combine oil and sugar and beat in eggs. Add dry ingredients. Fold in apples and pecans. Add vanilla. Bake 45 minutes at 325 degrees in tube pan or bundt pan.

Combine 1/2 cup butter, brown sugar, and evaporated milk in saucepan. Bring to full boil, cool. Add vanilla and pour over cake. Let run down sides.
