CARAMEL APPLE SUNDAE 
24 individually wrapped caramels
1 c. whipping cream
6 Red Delicious apples
3/4 c. chopped walnuts

In a small heavy saucepan, combine caramels and whipping cream. Cook over medium low heat, stirring frequently, until smooth. Remove from heat. Cover to keep warm. Core and cut apples into thick wedges.

Place the apple slices decoratively on 6 dessert plates. Immediately drizzle with warm caramel sauce and chopped walnuts, serve. Serves 6.
