APPLE BLOSSOM CAKE | |
1 1/4 c. cooking oil 2 c. sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. nuts 3 c. chopped apples 3 c. sifted flour 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. nutmeg Beat oil, sugar and eggs until well blended. Stir in vanilla, nuts and chopped apples. Sift together dry ingredients; stir in batter until well blended. Pour into greased and floured 9"x13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes or until brown. CREAM CHEESE FROSTING: 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1/2 c. butter 1 lb. confectioners' sugar 1 tsp. vanilla Cream butter and cream cheese together. Blend in vanilla. Gradually add sugar and beat until smooth and creamy. |
