LEMON POUND CAKE | |
2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 stick butter or 1/2 c. oil 1 1/2 c. sugar 4 eggs 1/2 c. milk 1 tsp. lemon juice 1 tsp. lemon rind Confectioners' sugar Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Combine (cream) butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time; beat after each addition. Fold in flour and lemon juice and milk. Mix only enough to combine well. Pour into an oiled pan. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Unmold and dust with confectioners' sugar. |
