POP-OVER PIZZA | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 lg. onion, chopped 1 (1 1/2 oz.) env. spaghetti sauce mix 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce 1/2 c. water 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese, sliced 2 eggs 1 c. milk 1 tbsp. vegetable oil 1 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese Brown beef and onion; drain. Stir in sauce mix, tomato sauce and water. Simmer 10 minutes. Spoon into greased 13"x9" pan. Top with cheese slices. Beat eggs, milk and oil until foamy. Beat in flour and salt until batter is smooth. Pour batter over meat filling, spread to cover completely. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for about 30 minutes or until puffed and golden brown. Cut in squares and serve. 8 servings. |
