CHICKEN BREASTS ROMANO 
1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tbsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 whole chicken breasts
2 tbsp. melted shortening
1/4 c. onions
2 c. tomato juice
2 tbsp. grated Romano cheese
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. whole oregano
1/4 tsp. basil leaves
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms

Bread chicken breasts. Brown chicken breasts in shortening. Mix tomato juice, Romano cheese, sugar, garlic salt, oregano, basil leaves, vinegar, and mushrooms. When chicken is browned, put in mixture. Simmer 30-45 minutes. Serve over egg noodles prepared by directions on package.
