MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 
16 c. popped corn
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Mix brown sugar, butter, syrup and salt in 2 1/2 quart bowl. Microwave uncovered 2 1/2 minutes. Stir - microwave to boiling about 30 seconds. Stir - boil additional 3 minutes. Stir in soda.

Place popped corn in a large grocery bag (paper). Pour cooked syrup over corn in bag. Mix and shake until well coated with caramel. Microwave high high a total of 3 minutes. Shake bag well after each minute. Pour out on cookie sheet. This is the best and easiest caramel corn I have ever made.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
