2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. butter
1 c. molasses
1 egg
1 c. applesauce
3/4 c. raisins

Combine dry ingredients in mixing bowl. Cut in butter. Add egg and applesauce; beat well. Stir in raisins. Bake in a greased, floured 8 inch square pan at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar or glaze with 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice mixed with 3/4 cup powdered sugar.
