PIZZAS (PIZZELLES)
 
Make or buy pizza dough. Make hamburger patty size portion of dough and fry in hot oil until golden. Drain. This can be done in advance and the pizzelles frozen for future use. Place on cookie sheet. Top each pizzelle with sauce, Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes until cheese melts. Serve.

Pizzelles can also be eaten without topping in place of bread or covered with different toppings such as sauteed escarole or sliced mushrooms.
