BREAKFAST COOKIES 
3/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
3/4 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. raisins, chopped
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. wheat flakes (cereal)
1 c. oats
1 c. shredded coconut
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream shortening with the sugars. Beat in the eggs and vanilla.

In another bowl combine chopped raisins, flour, cereal, oats, coconut, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix the two mixtures together. Drop rounded tablespoons about 3 inches apart on lightly greased baking sheet. Press down slightly and bake at 375°F for 10 to 12 minutes.
