YUM YUM CHOCOLATE CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1 c. water
1/2 c. Crisco
3 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. buttermilk

Mix flour and sugar in a large bowl. Put butter, water, Crisco, cocoa in a saucepan and bring to boil. Pour over dry ingredients. (Save pan and do not wash, use for making filling.) Add eggs, soda and buttermilk. Bake in long loaf pan, greased at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.

FROSTING:

1/3 c. whole milk
3 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
1 stick butter

Bring to a boil, add 1 box powdered sugar and 1 cup chopped nuts. Pour over hot cake.
