BREAKFAST CASSEROLE | |
6 slices bread, crusts removed 1 can sliced or fresh mushrooms 5 eggs 1 1/2 c. milk 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp. dry mustard 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese 1/2 c. sharp cheese 3/4 to 1 lb. fresh browned sausage Salt and pepper to taste Butter casserole dish, 13 x 9 x 2 inches. Place bread whole or in pieces on bottom. Cover with browned sausage, cover with mushrooms, then cheeses. Lightly beat eggs and milk, pour over dish. Mix the evening before using and put in refrigerator. Next day bake at 350 degrees for about 35-40 minutes. |
