SPRING COOLER 
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 (3 inch) cinnamon sticks
1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice, chilled
1 c. lemon juice
Orange wedges
Maraschino cherries
1 1/2 c. water
6 whole cloves
2 c. orange juice
1 (33.8 oz.) bottle ginger ale, chilled

Combine sugar, water, cinnamon sticks and cloves in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 30 minutes. Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight; discard spices. Combine sugar syrup and fruit juices; stir well.

To serve, combine juice mixture and ginger ale; stir well. Serve over crushed ice. Place orange wedges and cherries on skewers and place in each glass. Yields 3 1/2 quarts.
