ELEGANT BREAD PUDDING | |
8 slices bread 4 eggs, beaten 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 lg. can Carnation milk 1 can water (measure in milk can) 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 box raisins (more or less according to taste) 1/2 stick butter, melted 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. coconut 1 c. chopped nuts (opt.) Mix sugar and eggs. Pour milk and water over bread, which has been crumbled. Stir all together. Add raisins, cinnamon and vanilla. Pour into 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Top with coconut and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. |
