EASY ALABAMA PRALINES 
1 box light brown sugar
1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts

Combine sugar and water; bring to boil and stir often. Boil to the soft ball stage. Remove from fire and add butter, vanilla and nuts. Stir by hand until creamy, working quickly drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper. At first it may look like they are not done, but if you cook too much they can harden on you in the pan.
