TEXAS HASH 
2 lg. onions, chopped
2 green peppers, chopped
1 lb. hamburger
2 c. tomato juice
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. fat (for frying)
1/2 c. uncooked rice
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. chili powder

Cook onions and peppers until they change color. Add meat and cook until it turns gray. Place in layers in a casserole. Pour tomato juice over, cover and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
