SAUCEPAN PEANUT BUTTER CRUNCHES 
2 c. sugar
1/3 c. cocoa
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla flavoring
2 c. quick oats

Mix sugar and cocoa in large saucepan. Add butter and milk on high heat bring to rolling boil stirring constantly. Boil 1 1/2 minutes. Remove from heat. Add 1 cup crunchy peanut butter and one tablespoon vanilla. Stir until peanut butter dissolves and stir in 2 cups quick oats, uncooked. Mix well and work quickly. Drop by spoonful on wax paper. Cool. Makes 4 to 5 dozen.
