APPLE DUMPLINGS 
1 recipe baking powder biscuits
6 apples, pared & cored

FILLING:

2 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Roll dough into rectangle. Cut into 6 squares. Place apple on each square. Fill centers with filling. Pinch corners around apples.

1/2 c. Karo syrup
1/4 c. water
3 tbsp. butter

Boil and pour over apples.
