CARAMEL CORN PUFFS | |
1 cup (2 sticks) butter 2 cups brown sugar 1/2 cup light corn syrup (Karo) 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. baking soda 2 boxes corn puffs cereal Boil for 5 minutes: butter, brown sugar and syrup. Stir in vanilla and baking soda (this will bubble up). Spread corn puffs on greased baking sheet. Pour mixture over corn puffs and stir until well coated. Variation: Add chopped nuts if you wish. Bake at 250°F for 1 hour. Turn every 15 minutes. |
