MOTHER'S DUMP CAKE 
2 lg. cans sliced peaches
1 box yellow or white cake mix
1 stick melted butter
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
1 lg. container Cool Whip (optional)
Nutmeg

Using a 13"x9" cake pan. Spread 1 1/2 cups of cake mix in bottom of pan, then add layer of peaches, sprinkle half of the chopped nuts, drizzle 1/2 of the melted butter; sprinkle lightly with nutmeg. Continue process ending with cake mix on top. Sprinkle remaining nuts and drizzle remaining butter and a little nutmeg.

Cook in 350 degree oven for about 1 hour. Allow cake to cool, then add Cool Whip.
