OATMEAL CAKE 
1 c. quick cooking Quaker oats
1 stick butter in mixing bowl

1 1/4 c. boiling water

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 eggs

Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.

TOPPING:

1/2 tsp. butter
1/4 c. evaporated milk
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. pecans

Mix and bring to boil. Remove and pour over cake. Put into oven until it bubbles.
