LEMON JELLO WITH SALAD TOPPING 
1 sm. pkg. lemon Jello
2 c. hot water

Dissolve Jello in hot water. Let cool.

1 c. drained crushed pineapple
1 lg. banana, cut up (I use all the pineapple from a 20 oz. can)
12 marshmallows, cut

Let set in refrigerator.

1 c. pineapple juice, you may add some water to make the cup
1/2 c. sugar
1 heaping tbsp. flour
1 egg yolk

Mix flour and sugar, add pineapple juice, cook stirring until thick. Mix a little hot sauce into the beaten egg yolk, then add to sauce stirring and cook just a short time and cool. Beat 1 cup of whipping cream and fold into sauce. Spread over the top of the set Jello and sprinkle with shredded cheese. Chill until ready to use.

Sometimes I don't use the marshmallows.
