LEMON HERBED ROASTED CHICKEN 
3-4 lb. fryer or roasting chicken
1/4 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1/4 tsp. thyme
2 tsp. lemon pepper

Rinse chicken and pat dry. Remove excess fat. Place onion in cavity of chicken and rub the skin with butter. Place chicken in crock pot and sprinkle with remaining seasonings. Cover and cook on low setting 8 to 10 hours (crock pot).
