APPLE SLICES 
3 c. flour
1 c. butter
8 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. salt
2 egg yolks
5-6 slices and peeled apples
1 c sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix flour, butter, water, lemon juice, salt and egg yolks like pie crust. Divide dough in two and press 1/2 into 9 x 13 inch pan. Combine the apples, sugar and cinnamon and spread on top of this crust. Top with the remaining crust and brush with egg whites. Bake at 425 degrees for 30 minutes. Frost while warm with powdered sugar glaze. Cut as bars.
