2 cans cherry or apple pie filling 2 c. flour 3 eggs 1 c. shortening, half butter 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1/8 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking powder Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs. Mix in flour, salt, vanilla and baking powder. Spread 2/3 of batter in bottom of 9 x 12 inch pan. Add pie filling and spread rest of batter on top. Bake in 350 degree oven for 50 minutes. |
