SOFT RAISIN DREAM COOKIES 
1 c. soft butter
1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. light brown sugar
2 lg. eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. maraschino cherries, cut in half

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease and dust cookie sheet with flour. Beat butter and sugars until fluffy. Beat in eggs, vanilla and dissolve baking soda in 1/4 cup milk and mix thoroughly.

Add flour gradually to Step #2 mixture.

Drop by teaspoon and place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Flatten slightly with bottom of small glass.

Bake 10 minutes or until golden. Remove to wire rack to cool. Makes 50 cookies.
