3 (16 oz.) cans sliced potatoes 1 (16 oz.) can or bottle onions 1 (16 oz.) can cream corn Use heavy skillet or pan - add 1 1/2 ounces Wesson oil - low heat. Add - drained potatoes and drained onions. As they start to cook use spatula to cut onions to small pieces. Add 1 1/2 ounces maple syrup (Log Cabin) - salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 1/2 to 1 hour, stirring and adding a touch of oil to keep from sticking to pan. (Could cook up to 2 hours). About 10 minutes before serving add cream corn - stir in. Serves 6-8 good portions. Uses only one burner. |
