ITALIAN FRIED CHICKEN 
1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
3 tbsp. all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp. dried basil, crushed
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 (2 1/2 - 3 lb.) chicken, cut up
2 tbsp. cooking oil

In plastic bag combine Parmesan cheese, flour, basil, salt, nutmeg and a dash of pepper. Add chicken a few pieces at a time and shake to coat evenly.

In 12 inch skillet heat cooking oil then add chicken pieces. Cook, uncovered, over medium-low heat for 50-55 minutes or until chicken is tender, turning occasionally. Serves 4-6. ENJOY!
