1/4 c. white vinegar
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
1 tbsp. prepared horseradish
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 lb. ground cooked ham (4 1/2 c.)
1/2 lb. ground pork
1 orange, peeled, thinly sliced

In small bowl stir together corn syrup, vinegar, mustard and horseradish. In large bowl mix egg, water, bread crumbs and pepper. Add ham, pork and 1/2 the corn syrup mixture. Toss until well blended. Press ham mixture into 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Turn into 11 x 7 x 2 inch baking dish. Pour remaining corn syrup mixture over loaf. Bake in 350 degree oven basting occasionally for 1 hour. Makes 6-8 servings.

ORANGE HAM GLAZE:

1 c. Karo light or dark corn syrup
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3 tbsp. prepared mustard
1/2 tsp. ground ginger

In 2 quart casserole stir together corn syrup, sugar, mustard and ginger. Stirring constantly, bring to boil over medium heat and boil 5 minutes. Brush frequently on ham last hour of baking. Makes about 1 cup.

Tip: When time is short, a very satisfactory glaze can be made by simply pouring light or dark Karo onto ham for the last hour of baking.
