ALMOND HORNS 
1 lb. soft butter
1 3/4 c. confectioners' sugar
4 1/4 c. flour
1/2 lb. almonds, ground
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Grated rind of 1 lemon

Place all ingredients in a large bowl and work together with fingers until well blended. Shape into crescents about 2 inches long. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets in a 400 degree oven for about 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.

When slightly cool, dust with confectioner's sugar. (Make small and light.) These keep forever. (Czechoslavakian)
