ALMOND HORNS 
1 (8 oz.) can almond paste
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. ground blanched almonds
2 egg whites
1 1/2 c. almonds, sliced
1 pkg. chocolate chips, melted
1 tsp. Crisco

Make dough of almond paste, sugar, almonds and egg whites. Roll pieces of dough into crescent shapes a little larger than a finger. Roll into bowl of sliced almonds and bake at 300°F on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper (until light pale brown). Take out onto cooling rack. Dip each end into warm, melted chocolate melted with Crisco.

I would give these cookies 5 stars on taste. I'm about to make my second batch. Also, I didn't bother with the chocolate, though I might for this next batch.
