ONION-CHEESE SUPPER BREAD 
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 beaten egg
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. pkg. biscuit mix
1 c. shredded sharp American cheese
2 tbsp. snipped parsley
2 tbsp. melted butter

Cook onion in a small amount of hot fat until tender, but not brown. Combine egg and milk, add to biscuit mix. Stir only until mixture is just moistened. Add onion, half the cheese and parsley. Spread dough in a greased 8 x 11 1/2 inch round cake pan. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Drizzle melted butter over top. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Makes 6-8 servings.
