ONION-CHEESE SUPPER BREAD 
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. milk
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
2 tbsp. parsley
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 c. biscuit mix

Cook onion in small amount butter until tender, but not brown. Combine egg and milk, and add to biscuit mix; stir only until mix is just moistened. Add onion, half the cheese, and parsley.

Spread dough in greased 8 x 1 1/2 inch round cake pan. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Drizzle melted butter over. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Makes 6 to 8 servings. Good with soup or salad.
