SHELLFISH AND AVOCADO SOUP 
1 tbsp. melted butter
2 med. size ripe avocados
2 c. chicken broth
1 lb. cooked shellfish
1 c. cream
2 tbsp. sherry
Salt and pepper

Combine all ingredients except the shellfish in a blender, and blend until avocado is smooth and creamy. Chop the shellfish and add to this mixture. Heat gradually, stirring constantly. Serve hot or cold. Serves 4.
