CHOCOLATE BUTTERCREAM FROSTING
6 tbsp. butter
1 cup powdered sugar
4 tbsp. cocoa
2 to 3 tbsp. milk

1. Cream butter.

2. Combine sugar and cocoa.

3. Add sugar and cocoa mixture to butter

4. Add milk to and butter mixture. I would start with 2 tbsp. of milk and if it's too thick add another tbsp. of milk.

Great recipe. I made it with 6 tbsp. cocoa and 1 tsp. vanilla. Made it more like dark chocolate.

I made this recipe but I added some cherry juice to it, came out MAGNIFICENT! I frosted them on my homemade vanilla cupcakes and garnished them with cherry halves...PERFECT!

Awesome recipe!! I used half and half instead of milk and real butter!! Used 4 tablespoons of half and half. Just wish I would have doubled the recipe!! Next time I will.

I think this would of been a great recipe if I had used butter instead of margarine. It came out almost like a pudding texture more than light and fluffy. But it tasted great and still (poured) onto cake. Kids loved it.

GREAT recipe. Had enough to frost about 18 cupcakes (cuz, we ate some plain...not usual), and I was still able to lick the bowl! I used 4 1/2 Tbsp Hershey's Cocoa & 2 Tbsp Milk. Excellent; highly recommend it.

Excellent and I never like chocolate icing. I added extra cocoa and 2 tbsp of Crisco to lessen the sweet and stiffen it up.

I really liked the frosting you just have to add and 1/2 cup of powdered sugar. Other than that it was amazing!!

Just made this recipe and adjusted just a little. A little vanilla and you have a great cocoa buttercream frosting which was extremely tasty and light!
