BEACH BEANS | |
8 slices bacon 3 lg. onions, sliced in rings 1 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. dry mustard 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 c. cider vinegar 1 tsp. salt 2 (15 oz.) cans dry lima beans, drained 1 (1 lb.) can dark red kidney beans, drained 1 (1 lb.) can B&M baked beans, undrained Fry bacon until crisp and crumble (saving grease). Place onions in bacon grease. Then add next 5 ingredients to pan. Cook 20 minutes, covered. Add onion mixture to beans then stir in crumbled bacon. Pour all in 3 quart casserole or bean pot and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Serves 12. |
