1 c. flour
1/3 c. shortening
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. sweet milk

1 or 2 tbsp. butter 3 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. vinegar Pinch of salt 1 c. white Karo syrup 1 c. nuts (whole or chopped)

Mix together and bake 45 minutes at 325 degrees in electric oven or 350 degrees in gas range until firm.
