SWEET AND SOUR MEATBALLS 
Meatballs:

2 1/2 lb. ground steak
1 c. finely ground bread crumbs
salt and pepper
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 beaten egg

Sauce:

1 bottle chili sauce
1 can cranberry jell
1/4 c. brown sugar

Mix all ingredients for the meatballs together; form into 1-inch balls.

Mix ingredients for sauce in large saucepan. Heat until jell is melted. Add meatballs. Cook 1 hour over medium to low heat.

Makes 100.

Note: Meatballs can be made ahead and frozen. Place meatballs on cookie sheet. Place in freezer. Do not have to thaw meatballs, just put in sauce and cook 1 hour.
