RAISIN SHEET COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. water
1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar (part or all brown)
2 eggs, beaten
3 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda

Boil 1 cup shortening, vanilla and raisins in 1 1/2 cup water until 1 cup water remains. Cream together 1 cup shortening, sugar and eggs. Add to raisin mixture. Spread thin on two greased cookie sheets that have sides. Bake 10 to 15 minutes at 375 degrees.

FROSTING:

2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 to 5 tbsp. cream

Mix together and frost bars.
