CHICKEN CRESCENT SQUARES 
1 (3 oz.) cream cheese
3 tbsp. butter, melted
2 c. cooked chicken, cubed
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. chives or onion, chopped
1 tbsp. pimento (optional)
1 can crescent rolls
3/4 c. crushed seasoned croutons

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Blend softened cream cheese and 2 tablespoons butter until smooth; add the next 6 ingredients and mix well. Separate the crescent dough into 4 rectangles and firmly press perforations to seal.

Spoon 1/2 cup of meat mixture onto center; pull 4 corners up and twist. Seal edges. Brush the tops with the reserved 1 tablespoon butter. Dip in crouton crumbs; bake an ungreased cookie sheet, 20-25 minutes. Makes 4 sandwiches.
