FRUIT COBBLER 
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 stick cold butter
1 egg
Fresh or canned peaches or apples, etc.

Sweeten fresh fruit sliced with sugar and cover bottom of 9 inch pan. Mix sugar, flour, salt and baking powder. Blend in cold butter with crumb like.

Add egg and mix well. Sprinkle or spread over fruit. Sprinkle with small amount of cinnamon and sugar. Bake in 375 degree oven until lightly brown 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream or milk.
