TEA TIME TASSIES 
Crust:

6 oz. cream cheese
1 c. butter
2 c. flour

Work the ingredients for the crust. Chill 1 hour or overnight. Roll dough and cut into small circles and place in ungreased miniature cupcake tins. Add about 1 teaspoonful of filling. (Optional: You can top with a maraschino cherry.)

Bake at 325°F for 25 minutes.

Filling:

2 c. light brown sugar
2 tbsp. melted butter
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped or ground walnut meats

Cream together sugar and butter; add eggs and vanilla and beat well. Add walnuts. Beat well.
