MERINGUE COOKIES 
3 egg whites
1 c. sifted sugar
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
1 sm. pkg. chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat at room temperature egg whites with cream of tartar until very stiff. Gradually add sugar. Fold in chocolate chips and vanilla. Drop by teaspoon on brown paper covering a cookie sheet. Bake 30 minutes at 300 degrees.
