GRANDMA'S CRAB CAKE | |
1 lb. crab meat 1 egg yolk 1 tbsp. mayonnaise 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp. Old Bay seasoning 1 c. cracker crumbs, made from Saltine crackers, crushed very fine 1/2 stick butter To the crab meat add egg yolk, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning. Mix gently make into 8 crab cakes. Melt the butter, crush the Saltines to make 1 cup fine crumbs. Add the crumbs to the butter, and pat this on both sides of the crab cakes. Fry in a good vegetable oil until brown. These freeze well. |
